Mariajose Tamayo is a Venezuelan-born artist currentlypursuing her MFA in Photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design(SCAD). After an accomplished early career in finance—including recognition asa 2021 Rising Star at AXA Equitable Advisors—she transitioned to photography tofully pursue her creative vision. With a background that blends analytical rigor and artisticexploration, Mariajose brings a unique perspective to her work. Fluent inEnglish and Spanish, and based in Germany, she explores themes oftransformation, identity, and personal narrative through her lens.
